Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Mohd Bakri bin Mohd Zinin

Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Mohd Bakri Bin Mohd Zinin was born and raised in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Growing up, his entire life was geared towards being a police officer, starting with attaining his Diploma in Police Science from University Kebangsaan Malaysia. He then successfully joined the Royal Malaysian Police in November of 1975.

Tan Sri's prowess in Criminal Investigation, Prosecution and Criminal Intelligence ensured he was noticed and steadily rose to prominence. He served as a Police Administrator in the districts of Kudat, Sandakan, Lahad Datu and Kota Kinabalu. His excellent service eventually led him to take the helm as the Head of the Criminal Department. This was the first of many police leadership positions in his distinguished career.

Tan Sri later became the Deputy Commissioner in Sabah before he moved on as Deputy Director and eventually Director of Narcotics in Malaysia. He was eventually promoted to the Criminal Department Director of Malaysia and spent a majority of his service in this role. He made history as the first Sabahan to be appointed as the Deputy Inspector General of Royal Malaysia Police on 17th May 2013 and served honourably till his retirement on 7th September 2014.

He now serves as the Principal Advisor and Director to Anyteksys.
